 Allstar Marketing Group LLC is awarded a preliminary injunction order aiding the company in protecting some of its most popular properties, including Aqua Globes, Bumpits, Snuggie and Strap Perfect. The ruling, handed down on March 3, requires the removal of Allstar Marketing Group property names and images and any variations of those marks from unauthorized Web sites – specifically those operated by Hotproducts4less and Gadgets and Gizmos Inc.

 The Direct Response Forum (DRF), the leading trade association for payments professionals, with more 500 members, will hold its annual forum August 9-11 at the historic Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tenn.

 Premier Care in Bathing, of South Daytona, Florida, has named Kre8 Media as its North America media agency of record. Kre8 Media, an agency specializing in DR and brand development, will handle all TV and print advertising in the United States and Canada.

 Acquirgy, a multi-channel direct marketing agency specializing in customer acquisition, is expanding operations nationally, beginning with the hiring of Linda Chaney and Mark McVey, both vice presidents of business development.
