Imagine Fulfillment Services (IFS) in Torrance, Calif., has promoted Danny Sandoval to director of client services. Sandoval was previously manager of client services.

Bret R. Butterfield is named vice president of business development and marketing for Ansafone Contact Centers.

QVC launches QVC Desktop Alert, a free download that provides Microsoft Windows users to the opportunity to subscribe to real-time information, updated every few seconds.

Rauxa Direct, a direct marketing agency headquartered in Orange County, Calif., announces the move of its Manhattan office. Now located at 100 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY, 10013, the larger space has been acquired to accommodate a growing staff responsible for an expanding clientele and increased billings.

Active Network promotes Lauren Guinn to the position of senior director of marketing for its golf and resort division. Guinn has been with Active for 10 years, working in the media and marketing division, and most recently was the division’s senior director of marketing.

GSI Commerce Inc. and the National Football League (NFL) have signed a new multi-year extension to their E-commerce agreement. Also, TrueAction, a GSI Commerce company, expands its portfolio into international markets with the re-design and launch of Peak Performance’s online store. Peak Performance is the largest sportswear outfitter in Sweden and one of the 11 fashion brands of IC Companys.

Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of loyalty and marketing solutions derived from transaction-rich data, announces that its Epsilon subsidiary has signed a multi-year agreement with La Quinta Inns to provide permission-based E-mail marketing services. It also agreed to continue to support and the management of La Quinta Returns, its frequent guest program.

The Institute for International Research (IIR) launches a new affiliate marketing/performance marketing event. The Performance Marketing Expo will take place Sept. 27-29 in South Beach at the Miami Beach Convention Center and will feature educational sessions, industry speakers, affiliates with proven earning power, online retailers, and affiliate networks.

DW Advertising, based in Minneapolis, recently produced a new DRTV campaign for Miracle-Ear starring actor Patrick Duffy. On-air performance for this better-hearing brand has been outstanding with control beating cost-per-appointment results.

Macromark, a member of the Dream Team Direct alliance, has signed an agreement with Dr. Knoll’s health products to service their direct mail list buying needs.
