Bill Koenigsberg, CEO and founder of Horizon Media, has donated $182,000 to City Harvest, the world’s first food rescue organization dedicated to feeding New York City’s hungry men, women and children. Koenigsberg presented the check at a press conference held on Nov. 2, at Duffy Square in Times Square, attended by over 200 Horizon Media and City Harvest employees.

iMarketing LTD, a full-service online marketing agency, is selected to implement an integrated online marketing program for Direct Wines, supporting the company’s expansion in the U.S. and increased emphasis on online sales.

Alterian launches the Social Media Marketing Council to help regulate how businesses harvest and use data from social networks and other online channels; provide guidance on what constitutes acceptable use of social media data; and encourage organizations to use judgment in how they target prospects online. Kevin Hayes, most recently a senior account executive with YES Network, joins Bellatrix Media as vice president of sales. Hayes initially will introduce Bellatrix Media’s American Target Network (ATN), an unwired network that offers advertisers access to the nation’s 48 most-watched Cable TV networks for less money.

Kerr Drug, a leader in community-based pharmacy care, selects 919 Marketing, a nationally recognized marketing, consulting and public relations firm, as its marketing agency of record. The deal expands the partnership between the two North Carolina-based companies; 919 Marketing has been the public relations partner for Kerr Drug since 2005, and now as agency of record, will also provide strategic planning, branding, media planning and placement, advertising and production services for Kerr Drug.
