> Cesari Direct appoints Ken Hunt to the newly created role of president. Hunt will focus on expanding Cesari's interactive division, enhance client services and oversee operations of the multi-faceted marketing company. Cesari Direct also launches its new integrated Web site, www.cesaridirect.com, to reflect the company's services including: short-form DRTV media buying; direct response radio buying; enhanced interactive elements; and media funding. In-depth case studies of Cesari Direct's all-star roster of clients have also been enhanced and feature detailed backgrounds of campaigns for Eagle One (Valvoline) (Response, October 2008), Sonicare Toothbrush, Brainetics and Rug Doctor.
> Livemercial appoints Adam Riemer as senior director of marketing, media and affiliate. Riemer's responsibilities include executing overall marketing strategy, with a primary focus on optimizing existing channels, including affiliate, shopping comparison, pay-per-click, media buying/planning, E-mail, mobile and database.
> Direct response industry and product veteran Kim Banchs is focusing on her strategic marketing company, Creative Response, doing more work for various product companies by taking their brands and products to market. She is also a partner in a consumer distribution business that is experiencing huge growth.
> Leyla Hodge joins Capital Media as director of operations. Hodge has 14 years of experience in direct response advertising and has managed campaigns in various categories including insurance, home improvement, pharmaceuticals and fitness.
> Hawthorne Direct names Tammy Shull as human resources manager. Shull was most recently with MetroGroup Marketing Services as human resources manager for 12 years.
> InfoWorx, a pioneer in infomarketing for infomercials, adds in-house telemarketing to its list of services. The company will now offer infomercial TV production, DRTV media buying and direct response telemarketing services.
