eDiets.com Inc. names Karlin+ Pimsler, an advertising boutique specializing in DRTV, to lead its creative turnaround beginning with the creation of a national TV campaign for the company’s meal delivery service. The “Chomp!” campaign will begin airing nationwide in mid-September and will incorporate a two-minute, 60-second and 30-second spot.

Gen2Media Corp. has teamed up with Foot Locker Inc. to launch an exclusive, interactive, ad-supported Internet television channel that will be available for viewing on Foot Locker’s Web site later this fall. Powered by Gen2’s video publishing platform, FootLockerOnlineTV will showcase custom video programming and digital advertising specially created to appeal to millions of visitors that go to Foot Locker’s properties each month.

DRTV host Brad Pomerance receives his second Emmy Nomination from the Los Angeles branch of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for his work as the host of Local Edition, CNN Headline News for Time Warner Cable in Los Angeles. His last nomination was in 2007 for hosting and producing a television program about the revitalization of Hollywood.

Beanstalk Media changes its name to Beanstalk Marketing Group, effective immediately, to reflect the company’s recent expansion. Since June, the company has launched several in-house divisions and appointed high-profile industry executives to oversee the new units.

Motivational Fulfillment and Logistics Services chooses Smart Action Company LLC to be its partner in customer self-service automation. Motivational is using SmartAction’s Virtual Agents to handle customer-service inquiries automatically. The SmartAction solution is powered by the company’s proprietary artificial-intelligence engine that enables its virtual agents to surpass the functionality and performance of even the most advanced interactive voice response (IVR) systems.

GSI Commerce Inc. has acquired certain assets of the Pepperjam affiliate marketing network and the Pepperjam full-service, interactive marketing agency, which specializes in search. The acquisition will expand the breadth and depth of GSI’s interactive marketing services capabilities and its reach into existing and new vertical markets. GSI also partners with Helly Hansen retail group to develop and operate international online stores in eight European countries as well as in the U.S. and Canada.

Brandon Reynolds joins Triton Technologies as the site manager for the latest call center in Phoenix. Reynolds started in the industry as an operator and worked his way up to training and operational positions at AfterMarket, e-Visions Marketing and Fusion Contact Centers over the past decade.
