This month, ePay, a division of TransFirst serving national accounts and specializing in the card-not-present market, will forgo its authorization and settlement transaction processing services fees for new approved merchants who sign up with ePay.

Hawthorne Direct names Gina Lombardo-Negron as short-form media supervisor. Previously she worked as a media executive at Wunderman/Meci as a partner and associate broadcast director.

Robin Rifkin is named vice president, media buying and sales, for Razor & Tie Media in New York City. Rifkin joins the company with an extensive background in media buying and planning, most recently as vice president direct response and media director at Zenith Optimedia. 

Rich Ringrose is named as general manager of special projects for Robinson Radio. In his new position, Ringrose will manage operations for Robinson’s radio-based multi-platform media ventures, including Snap Daddy Radio and Radio Rants. Snap Daddy Radio is Robinson Radio’s iPhone application for radio stations that allows individual radio station affiliates to exclusively stream their signal directly to consumers via their iPhones. RadioRants is an innovative listener-interactive program that transforms radio talk show toll-free dial-in numbers into a new Web site advertising platform designed to extend the radio station or program brand, build community and generate revenue.

Carl Langrock, former president of COREMedia Systems, has joined software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider Component Web Services as senior vice president, director of business development for their cloud computing-based itraQtm online file management product.

Don Alexander, owner of Money Mailer in Ann Arbor, Mich., will be giving away $100 a day throughout July to consumers who use Money Mailer at his customers’ locations. He will visit a different storefront each day to give out the money known as his “Consumer Stimulus Program.”

NB GROUP, which specializes in multi-channel marketing campaigns, completes its first direct mail campaign that meets rigorous new environment criteria introduced by the Royal Mail, which took affect in the United Kingdom in April. The campaign, on behalf of TK Maxx, was also eligible for a 4.7-percent discount on Royal Mail delivery costs due to materials used from sustainable sources.

AIT launches a no-cost “ad-free” Web hosting account to provide businesses and individuals with a free Web site for life at their own domain name to enhance the visibility of its core products and services and tyBit. There is one free hosting account per customer and users get ample disk space, bandwidth and control panel.

Racing for Miracles now allows children to download and create their own car to submit into the “Race For Miracles.” Once a car is submitted, it is in a contest to be voted on by visitors when they donate $1 to the Children’s Miracle Network.
