ABC Television and Mark Burnett Productions, both in attendance at last week’s Response Expo in San Diego, are casting for the new series “Shark Tank,” which will offer a bailout to struggling entrepreneurs. Interested entrepreneurs, inventors, businesspersons, etc., who have a lucrative business idea but can’t get financial backing are urged to come on the show and pitch their ideas to moguls in hopes of landing investment funds. Imagine Fulfillment Services (IFS) makes a significant investment in its customer service center and expands its in-house call center to 80 seats that can provide live customer service 24-hours-a-day. IFS also now deploys intuitive and advanced interactive voice response (IVR) through Orderwave 2.0 Web technology.

Triton Technologies is opening a new telesales center in Phoenix, doubling its capacity in response to direct marketing industry demand. The 10,000-foot facility is slated to open mid-summer as part of a longer-range plan by Triton to grow exponentially.

DRTV agency Atomic Direct has produced a direct mailer and six-minute sales DVD for the new MegaMover Transport Chair by Graham Professional Medical Products. For the initial campaign, customers are offered an incentive by phone or at the MegaMover Web site.

Hansen, integrated account executive; Sarah Sbordone, public relations account coordinator; and Whitney Liem, account coordinator.

Ace Hardware Corp. enhances the new member sign process in its customer loyalty program by partnering with TARGUSinfo, a provider of on-demand insight about prospects and customers. More than 700 Ace stores enroll new Ace Rewards members by asking for their phone number and using on-demand identification services from TARGUSinfo to instantly and automatically captures contact information for each new member.

Tara DiFrancesco is promoted from account executive to senior account executive at DMW Worldwide LLC. DiFrancesco will continue to work closely with clients to develop and execute effective multi-channel marketing programs.
