Thane Direct launches MejorCompraTV (Better Buy TV), a full-service distribution subsidiary serving Mexico, and has named DRTV executive Julen Garritz as managing director of the operation. MejorCompraTV will make its official debut in early April.
Yahoo! names Elisa Steele, former vice president at NetApp, as its new CMO, filling the position for the first time in two years. Steele will be responsible for Yahoo!’s brand, global marketing strategy and marketing functions, including brand and audience marketing, corporate communications, insights, policy and privacy, community affairs and related central teams.
Gen2Media Corp., a fully integrated digital media, technology and marketing company, appoints former A&E and NBC senior executive Michael Mohamad as executive vice president and digital media veteran Alan De Leon as senior vice president of interactive.
