The Sylmark Group selects Robinson Radio to handle the direct response radio campaign for the Ionic Pro Turbo air purifier for Envion LLC, a home environment consumer products company. Launching Dec. 1, the Ionic Pro Turbo DR radio campaign consists of a package of 60-second radio spots, which will feature live reads by targeted radio network on-air personalities.

QVC home-shopping television channel plans to eliminate 700 jobs to reduce costs as its business is slow. The cuts include 10 jobs at a distribution facility in Rocky Mount, N.C., and will eventually phase out its operations at the West Chester, Pa. distribution center and switch customer service to a work-from-home model.
ION Media Networks Inc. reports show cash flow for the third quarter decreased by 87 percent to $2.8 million from $21.5 million in the same quarter in 2007. The cash flow for the nine months ending Sept. 30 decreased 72 percent to $19.8 million from $69.7 million in the first nine months of 2007, reflecting decreases in net revenues and the increases in the company’s investments in programming, staffing, research and development and new initiatives needed to revitalize the TV network.
Consumer engagement agency Big Fuel will work with IKeepSafe and The Department of Justice on a PSA campaign to promote parental involvement in online safety. The PSA, which hits national airwaves this month, is a call-to-action for parents to visit KnowWhereTheyGo.org and take an active role in protecting children on the Internet.
