Square One Entertainment awards Kingstar Media as its DRTV agency to implement a Canadian campaign for ShamWow. This is the first foray into the Canadian marketplace for Square One Entertainment.

Livemercial has expanded into the virtual recruitment market with its acquisition of RecruiTV Inc. RecruiTV will retain its identity and be positioned as a Livemercial company providing virtual recruiting technology and services to corporations and recruiting firms.

Effective May 12, RMI Direct Marketing Inc. is the new list manager for the Time Inc. Corporate Database. RMI also announces the appointment of Alan Yu, strategic sales director, and Dan Gallo, account executive, to its management division.

The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) will hold its Government Affairs Conference Fly-In on May 19-20, in Washington, D.C.
