Director of National Advertising Sales
Brian Norris serves as a director of national advertising sales for DISH Network in New York. He oversees all direct response, Latino and multicultural advertising sales for the company. His team is responsible for selling all DR inventory, including live sports, addressable and interactive opportunities. Norris joined DISH in 2008 to assist in opening a 40-person New York City ad sales office for the company. Prior to that, he began his career at Lifetime Television before he moved to Viacom Networks as an account executive. Norris spends much of his free time doing community service. In 2007, he spent 11 days in South Africa volunteering to help the under privileged and underserved of that community. He currently serves as a Big Brother working with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of NYC and is on the advisory board of GuiDANCE Autism, which uses the medium of dance along with respite techniques and rhythmic music to enable children to break through their shells and connect to their surrounding world. Norris has a B.S. degree from Towson University and resides in Brooklyn with his wife Ericka and their daughter.
