Earvin "Magic" Johnson, chairman and CEO of Johnson Development Corp. and Magic Johnson Enterprises, spent 13 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers (1979-91; 1996). His play was renowned for its emphasis on teamwork and creativity, and his infectious smile showed a joy for the game rarely seen since. Not many hall-of-fame professional athletes have forged a business career that would make their sports exploits pale in comparison. However, Johnson’s off-court success – in both business and philanthropic endeavors – during the past two decades has become nearly as legendary as his on-court prowess as a five-time NBA world champion and three-time NBA most valuable player during his career with the Lakers.

It’s that business success – based on the teamwork and leadership he cultivated during his playing days – which Johnson will discuss as the keynote speaker at Response Expo 2011 presented by Euro RSCG Edge.

Steven Rosenbaum is the founder and CEO of the Web’s largest video curation platform, His book, Curation Nation, explores the changing worlds of publishing, consumer content and brand-centric curation, and will be published by McGraw Hill in spring 2011. Rosenbaum’s work as an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker includes his film chronicling 9/11: “7 Days In September,” which gathered more than 500 hours of video and created a curated journey through the eyes of 28 filmmakers and citizen storytellers. His film work includes long form documentary projects for CNN, MSNBC, Discovery, A&E and The History Channel.

He also hosts United Stations Radio Network‘s MediaBytes, a daily syndicated radio report that features insightful commentary and a unique insider's take on the biggest stories in technology, media and entertainment. Palmer is the author of Television Disrupted: The Transition from Network to Networked TV (York House Press, 2008) and the upcoming Overcoming The Digital Divide: How to use Social Media and Digital Tools to Reinvent Yourself and Your Career (2011, Lake House Press).
