Response publishes about 20 freelance-written stories per year. All are assigned by the editor. However, queries for specific stories may be accepted. See our editorial calendar for articles that will be published this year. Many of those listed will be freelanced out.
If you would like to be considered for assignments, please submit three to five published articles (photocopies and PDFs accepted) along with a resume to:
201 Sandpointe Ave., Suite 500
Santa Ana, CA 92707
Queries may be also e-mailed to Thomas Haire.
If you have particular expertise in a segment of the industry, please note this in your cover letter. We are also looking for freelancers who have established contacts with retailers and marketers utilizing direct response as part of their marketing programs.

Special Requirements: We require our freelancers to request artwork from their interviewees and send them directly to the editor.
Thank you for your interest in Response Magazine.
