Senators: FCC Should Restrict Behavioral Advertising

Comcast Shipping 30,000 X1 Boxes Per Day 
PHILADELPHIA – Comcast reports it is shipping about 30,000 X1 boxes (its in-home entertainment platform) per day. Comcast CEO and chairman Brian Roberts says the company is hoping to go beyond that number, adding that Comcast is also making its new voice remote standard for X1, and expects to ship 6 million of them this year.

BBB: Euro-Pro Should Slow Its 5-Star Roll

A new report from Javelin Strategy and Research says consumers spent $75.8 billion in apps and on the mobile Web in 2014, up 33.7 percent from 2013. Javelin predicts mobile retail commerce in the U.S. will grow to $217.4 billion by 2019.

eMarketer reports that 58 percent of marketers worldwide used real-time personalization – data-driven personalization completed in less than one second. Among the 42 percent not using it, nearly eight in 10 intend to do so within the next year.
