Media Analytics announces its SMARTview and SMARTlink measurement services, which measure census-level data of household viewing of direct response on TV screens, and analyze downstream consumer cross-screen behavior and engagement in real time.

Hulu announces that Hulu Live TV is now available for Xbox 360. Hulu adds it will soon unify its two iOS apps into a single offering that includes the Live TV platform, which is is still in beta – though it is available for anyone to sign up.

Fantasy league FanDuel and its agency The Vault NYC launch a campaign to raise awareness with three 30-second spots that liken football game-day food dishes with the daily fantasy sports provider. The ads will run throughout the NFL season.

Pivotal Payments, a leading provider of technology-driven global payment processing solutions, announces that bankcard industry veteran Allan Lacoste has joined the company as vice president. Lacoste will manage the overall growth of Pivotal’s North American sales divisions.

For the upcoming TV season, Nielsen slightly raises estimates on the number of U.S. TV homes – by 1 percent. This bump from last year’s projection brings the total to 119.6 million TV homes for the 2017-2018 TV season. For the 2016-2017 TV season, Nielsen’s estimate was 118.4 million – an increase of 1.7 percent from the previous season.

Content discovery platform Taboola partners with Getty Images so clients can more easily pair images with content discovery campaigns. Taboola clients will automatically receive suggestions through Getty Images that relate to the page, product, or app they want to promote across the web. Marketers can then refine the image options by adding or removing keywords to generate more relevant suggestions.

Adobe Advertising Cloud expands its cross-channel advertising capabilities by adding digital audio advertising formats on desktop and mobile devices. Adobe will partner with Rubicon Project to enable advertisers to plan and buy media across digital audio environments.

Facebook, YouTube, Google, and GoDaddy are all moving to limit or remove hate speech, white supremacists, and neo-Nazis from their platforms. Facebook removed several groups and individuals from its service for what it calls violations of terms banning hate speech. ”It’s a disgrace that we still need to say that neo-Nazis and white supremacists are wrong,” Mark Zuckerberg wrote in a blog post.

Amazon Prime Video releases the schedule for the 11 NFL games (10 Thursday night matchups and one on Christmas Day) it will live stream for its subscribers this season.

A new survey from Splendid Communications says nearly half of social media users believe influencer and brand partnerships are inauthentic, and that influencers work with brands they don’t believe in. More than 60 percent admit they’ve unfollowed or considered unfollowing an influencer that promoted too many products.

A study by Marketo says that while 82 percent of marketers believe they have a deep understanding of who they are trying to reach and 48 percent consider themselves innovative, only 23 percent of consumers think the same. A full 90 percent of marketers are prioritizing customer experience in a bid to boost demand and loyalty, but 67 percent of consumers see their engagements with brands as primarily transactional.
