Lockard & Wechsler’s Asieya Pine Wins DRMA Member of the Year

DRMA Member of the Year 2017NEW YORK – Response Magazine and the DRMA – the alliance for performance-based marketers – congratulate Asieya Pine, president of Irvington, N.Y.-based Lockard & Wechsler Direct, as the 2016 DRMA Member of the Year.

Pine’s victory was announced during a brief ceremony in front of more than 400 industry insiders at the DRMA Winter Bash in New York on Tuesday night. More than 800 leaders participated in the industry-wide vote that selected her ahead of six other nominees.

By earning the Sixth Annual DRMA Member of the Year Award, Pine succeeds 2015 winner Denira Borrero of Omni Direct, 2014 winner Rob Medved of Cannella Response Television, 2013 winner Kristy Pinand of Concepts TV Productions, 2012 winner Nancy Lazkani of Icon Media Direct, and 2011 winner Curtis Kleinman of Swipe Payment Solutions. The other 2016 nominees were:

  • Jason Baron, senior vice president, direct marketing/programmatic sales, Turner Broadcasting, New York
  • Peter Koeppel, founder and president, Koeppel Direct, Dallas
  • Bonnie Schalle, owner and president, E&M Media Group Inc., New York
  • Gregory Silvano, CEO, Mojo, Lynnfield, Mass.
  • Todd Thill, president and COO, Thill Inc., Neenah, Wis.
  • Lori Zeller, managing partner, THOR Associates, New York

“The 2016 nominees, once again, represent the cream of the crop in this industry,” says Yarrington. “Every single one represents the best values of performance-based marketing, while working tirelessly to expand the scope of the DRMA.”

The DRMA Member of the Year was determined by a vote, via an online third-party voting system, of alliance members. Representatives of DRMA member companies had the opportunity to vote for the candidate of their choice on Nov. 10-23.
