2016 DRMA Marketer of the Year Award Nominees: A Fantastic 5

The quintet of nominated marketers – from recent startups to long-time leaders – represent the evolution of performance-based marketing.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The DRMA – the alliance for performance-based marketers – and Response Magazine are proud to announce five stellar nominees for the Eighth Annual DRMA Marketer of the Year Award:

“This group of marketers – a ‘fantastic five,’ if you will – is made up of marketers who have taken the long-standing power of direct and data-driven marketing and combined it with this new era’s best metrics and multichannel media mixes,” says John Yarrington, publisher of Response and co-founder of the DRMA. “When you think of the present and – more importantly – the future of performance-based marketing, these five companies are among those leading the way, innovating on both the customer acquisition and sales attribution ends of the consumer lifecycle.”

The Response Advisory Board and the executive leadership of Response Magazine and the DRMA selected and notified initial nominees for the Eighth Annual DRMA Marketer of the Year competition. “After that process, these five DRMA member companies deserve kudos for stepping forward to accept this prestigious nomination,” Yarrington adds.

The DRMA Marketer of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding performance, accomplishments and innovation of a company in the performance-based marketing world. Previous winners include: DraftKings (2015); Tristar Products (2014); Euro-Pro LLC (2013); SENSA Products LLC (2012); Hearthware Inc. (2011); Your Baby Can LLC (2010); and Allstar Marketing Group (2009).

As always, the winner will be determined via an E-mail ballot sent to more than 5,000 eligible voters from across the industry. Third-party independent online election company Balloteer will contact DRMA members along with other industry leaders to take part in the voting, which begins on Monday, August 15, and concludes Friday, August 26. The finalists and winner will be announced during a special event on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the luxurious Drai’s Rooftop Nightclub, located atop the Cromwell Las Vegas hotel at the historic corner of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Blvd.
